TubeConditioner TC 2

The TubeConditioner TC 2 is a device for the simultaneous conditioning of up to 10 thermal desorption tubes. Condition is performed in accordance with a time and temperature program.

Not only sorbent tubes and empty tubes but also Twister can be conditioned. As a stand-alone device, the TC 2 does not make use of any additional GC resources.

TC2

Functional principle of the TC 2

Tubes inside the TC 2 are heated up and purged with inert gas. This releases and purges the impurities from the tube. The duration and the temperature at which condition is performed can be set individually, along with the heating rates and temperature ramps. The programs can be saved in 10 methods and reused at any time. During conditioning, the tubes are sealed airtight. After one or more runs, the tubes have been conditioned.

Benefits

Contaminated tubes and Twisters can be conditioned at any time. This ensures that the analytical device is neither blocked nor contaminated.

ThermalExtractor TE

Determine material emissions reliably

The TE is a Thermal Extraction sample preparation system for bulk samples to be analyzed using a Thermal Desorption (TDU, TD 3.5+ or TDS) System. It has been widely used to determine the emission potential of materials used indoors in vehicles and in commercial or residential buildings.

TE

A solid or gel sample is placed into the TE tube and is heated to the desired temperature. Volatile and semi-volatile organic compounds (VOC and SVOC) are extracted from the sample and transferred to a TD sorbent tube with a carrier gas flow.

The compounds are then determined using the Thermal Desorber (TDU, TD 3.5+ or TDS) in combination with a GC-MS(/MS) System

For quality control of a total aroma extraction in combination with sensory-directed analysis (SDA), the total aroma extracted, for example, by DHS onto a sorbent packed tube, can be desorbed in the TE and assessed for completeness by the olfactory specialist directly at the exit.

With the right accessories for your thermal desorption, your analysis will be even better.
