ChromIdent® is an intelligent add-on designed for chromatogram pattern matching and fingerprinting. It enables direct comparison of chromatograms or individual peaks against customizable databases – ideal for applications such as microplastics or extractables and leachables analysis.

Users can easily create their own in-house chromatogram database, ensuring that sensitive data remains secure within the organization. By recording known reference compounds, ChromIdent® builds a robust foundation for identifying similarities in unknown samples. Beyond microplastics and E&L testing, it also supports quality assurance processes, enabling fast and reliable detection of deviations or process-related failures in production.

The ChromIdent® Pyro Bundle extends these capabilities even further. It allows users to create, query, and expand databases directly from GC/MS data through peak list comparison. This makes it possible to identify components of pyrolyzed complex samples and determine the overall sample composition.

The bundle includes the OpenChrom GERSTEL Enterprise Edition chromatography evaluation software with the ChromIdent® database evaluation plugin and the comprehensive GERSTEL Pyro Database – providing a complete toolkit for powerful chromatogram identification and data-driven insight.
