Ilmac has its origins in the trade fair for international laboratory, measurement and automation technology in the chemical industry, which was held in Basel for the first time in 1959.
With the promise ‘Inspiring the Future of Chemistry and Life Sciences’, Ilmac promotes the development of new ideas and solutions and presents the latest trends from research and industry at the important locations of Basel and Lausanne. Ilmac also offers an extensive supporting programme with specialist presentations, workshops and networking opportunities.
The next Ilmac will take place from 16 to 18 September 2025 in Hall 1.0 at Messe Basel. Visitors can look forward to highlights such as the Conference, the Startup Area, the Future of Life Science Area, the Speakers Corner and the special shows Pharma Logistics Days and Job Connect. With the ‘Women in Life Science’ format, Ilmac 2025 offers women in the industry an exclusive platform.
