GERSTEL introduces MAESTRO LabFlow, a new software platform designed to simplify the management of automated laboratory workflows while improving transparency, efficiency, and system utilization.
Built on a modern client–server architecture, MAESTRO LabFlow enables laboratories to centrally manage automation systems through a browser-based interface. Laboratory staff and management can monitor workflows, control instruments, and organize analytical processes from any connected workstation.
The platform includes a wide range of preconfigured standard workflows, allowing laboratories to quickly implement common analytical procedures. At the same time, customized workflows can easily be created and adapted to meet specific laboratory requirements.
An advanced LabFlow Scheduler enables the overlapping execution of multiple tasks, helping laboratories increase throughput and optimize instrument utilization. Sequence creation is simplified through Excel-based data import, making it easy to manage large sample series.
MAESTRO LabFlow also provides a comprehensive audit trail, ensuring full traceability of changes, also related to users. User role management and method version control support secure and compliant workflow management.
The software supports a broad range of automation modules, including liquid injection, headspace analysis, SBSE with Twister®, TF-SPME, dynamic headspace (DHS), filtration, centrifugation, mVap evaporation and thermal extraction workflows. Future releases will further expand the platform with modules such as SPE automation, LC integration, pyrolysis, barcode reading and automated sample handling.
MAESTRO LabFlow supports analytical applications across multiple industries, including environmental monitoring, food and flavor analysis, air quality monitoring, material emissions testing, and pharmaceutical analysis such as residual solvents and extractables & leachables.
