Identification of Aroma Compounds in Body Care Products with FET-DHS+

For a long time now, products such as shampoos and shower gels have been used for more than just personal hygiene; they have become an expression of one’s attitude toward life and lifestyle.

Various fragrances and additives are used to give consumers an optimal sense of well-being. The goal of this project was to identify and characterize the aroma compounds in a shampoo and shower gel using FET-DHS-GC-MS.
